Lisa Barrand

As founder of Possibilities, Lisa is in demand as a strategic facilitator and executive coach. Drawing on over two decades of work in leadership development and change facilitation, her work is focused on supporting organisations to make things happen, not just talk about them.

Working across the Asia Pacific region, Lisa’s clients have included ClimateWorksAustralia, ACOSS, The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Fresenius Kabi, AXA, City of Casey, Department of Health and Human Services, Star of the South, Icon Water and Melbourne Business School.

Lisa also works on facilitation projects requiring diverse parties to collaborate together on challenging projects. Lisa is currently the independent Chairperson for the Mt. Shamrock Environment Review Committee.

As an offshoot to Possibilities, Lisa and her business partner John Trevillyan founded Negotiation Education Australia, an organisation dedicated to building stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability. Longstanding clients include the ACCC, the AER and the CPA. More recently, the work of NEA has been brought back under the umbrella of Possibilities Pty Ltd.

Prior to founding Possibilities, Lisa was a longstanding member of the directing staff at  Mt Eliza Executive Education  (Melbourne Business School) where she designed and facilitated open and customised programs around strategy and negotiation for over 20 years. Clients included Commlife Indonesia, Nike Australia, Simplot and Orica.

Lisa has a Masters in Management and is accredited in numerous psychometric and development related feedback instruments.

John Trevillyan

MEd (Admin) (Deakin), Grad Dip Ed (Melb), DipBusStud (Acc) (RMIT)

As a Principal at Possibilities, John brings with him tremendous depth and breadth to the development, direction, and facilitation of strategic execution programs. This complements his expertise in negotiation and stakeholder engagement.

John has consulted, developed and directed strategic execution, and change leadership programs in Australia, Europe, USA and the Asia-Pacific region for organisations including CPA Australia, TrustPower NZ, AXA Asia Pacific, Nufarm, Vanuatu Broadcasting Commission, and Fresenius Kabi (Asia).

In a complementary business, as Director of Negotiation Education Australia, John designed and ran negotiation programs for clients such as, Bunnings, Lloyd Constructions and the ACCC and has run additional programs for such clients as Melbourne Business School, The NAB, Cricket Australia, Racing Victoria and ConocoPhillips (UK).

Prior to commencing his own business, John was Director of the Mt Eliza Campus of Melbourne Business School, which involved operational responsibility for the 90 bedroom conference facilities and all the executive educational programs.

John has a Masters in Educational Administration and is qualified Accountant and a Fellow, of CPA Australia.
